Couples Portrait Photography in Budapest
You are in the right place if you would like good photographs together but overly romantic or heavily staged photography does not feel like you. We walk, talk and use simple situations to help you feel natural together in front of the camera.
We begin by discussing the photographs you would like, the atmosphere that feels right and the situations in which you are naturally yourselves together.
We then build the session around walking, conversation and simple shared situations. A relaxed rhythm gradually develops in which you pay more attention to each other than to the camera.
The series can feel relaxed, urban, intimate, playful or clean. You do not need to decide on the exact direction in advance: it is enough to have a general idea of the atmosphere that suits you.
You do not need to know how to behave in front of the camera. I give you simple situations that make it easier to pay attention to each other rather than to the photo shoot itself.
We look at the photographs you would like, how you intend to use them and the location that would suit you.
We begin with walking, small movements, conversation and paying attention to each other. I guide you throughout so the situations develop naturally.
After the shoot, you select your favourites. The starting price includes 10 retouched photographs, and you receive one additional retouched image as a gift on the day of the session.
Starting price
HUF 45,000
The starting price includes 10 retouched photographs, and the session usually takes place at one location or two nearby locations. The time spent helping you settle in and giving you direction does not increase the cost. I provide a bespoke quote in advance for several or more distant locations, studio hire, several outfits or a more complex idea.
We work at a relaxed pace: the aim is not to measure the session by the minute, but to create a shared series that you will both enjoy.

We were a little shy at the beginning, but Roland was so friendly and we talked and laughed so much that we quickly relaxed and came away with incredible photos.

Preparing together
The location is not the only thing that makes the series personal. The way you naturally spend time together matters just as much. It is worth considering the shared situations that suit you, whether you enjoy walking, sitting somewhere together, spending time in an urban environment or being somewhere quieter and closer to nature.
You do not need to spend the entire session facing each other or holding romantic poses. We can work with movement, conversation, walking and simple shared situations. These create varied portraits without asking you to behave in a way that does not feel natural to you.
Your clothes do not need to be identical. It usually works better when the colours, overall style and seasonal materials complement each other while allowing both of you to retain your own style. We can review the outfits you are considering before the session.
You do not need a special occasion to create a series together. If you would also like to use the photographs for invitations, a wedding website or decorations, it is worth exploring engagement photography, where the later use of the images becomes part of the planning.
That is completely fine. You receive simple situations and specific directions, so you always know what to do while still being able to focus on each other.
This is common, so we begin with conversation, walking and simple shared activities. The time spent settling in does not increase the price. Additional costs may apply for several or more distant locations, several outfits, studio hire or a more complex concept.
Yes, although engagement photography is a more precise starting point when the series is specifically connected to the period before your wedding and the images will also be used for invitations, a wedding website or decorations.
Choose clothes that complement each other in colour and overall style without being completely identical. We can review the outfits you are considering before the shoot.
Yes. Couples portrait photography works particularly well outdoors because walking makes it easier to relax. We can choose an urban setting, a park or somewhere with personal meaning to you.
Yes. We can photograph in a studio, with the studio hire listed separately in the quote.
The standard portrait session includes 10 retouched photographs. You choose your favourites after the shoot, and you can order additional retouched images separately.
You receive one retouched photograph as a gift on the day of the shoot. We agree on the delivery time for the complete series in advance.
Yes. You receive the selected photographs fully retouched. The aim is to create a polished result while ensuring that you still look natural together.
