Brand Portrait Photography in Budapest

Brand portrait photography that gives you more than a profile picture.

One good portrait is rarely enough when you need images for a website, professional introduction or regular content. We discuss where the photographs will appear and what you want to show about yourself and your work, then plan the locations, situations and visual direction around those needs.

A good choice when you need a varied collection that works across several platforms.

You may be creating a new website, updating your introduction, looking for images for a speaker profile or finally wanting to use your own photographs in regular content. The purpose of brand portrait photography is to give you a carefully planned series rather than a single profile picture.

The series can include classic portraits, photographs of you working, details and wider compositions. We adapt the collection to the way you work, the impression you want to create and the platforms where the images will appear.

How brand portrait photography is planned

Planning is at least as important as the photography itself. We first clarify the platforms and types of images you need, then choose the locations, clothes and specific situations around them.

  1. We collect where you intend to use the images

We look at whether you need photographs for a website, LinkedIn, a speaker profile, an introduction or regular social media content.

  2. We plan the image list and visual direction

We discuss the portraits, working situations, details and image crops you need. We then adapt the location, clothes and any props to that plan.

  3. We create several different situations during the shoot

We make more classic portraits, relaxed photographs and situations connected to your work. I guide you throughout with your posture, movements and how to appear naturally in front of the camera.

  4. You choose the photographs to be retouched

After the shoot, you select your favourites. The starting price includes 10 retouched photographs, and you receive one additional retouched image as a gift on the day of the session.

  • 1 retouched photograph delivered as a gift on the day of the shoot
  • joint planning of the platforms and types of images required
  • additional retouched photographs available separately

Content planning

What photographs do you genuinely need for your personal brand?

We begin with your platforms and recurring subjects

The first step is to collect where the photographs will appear. A website may need a hero image, an introductory portrait, situations illustrating your services and wider compositions with room for headings or other graphic elements.

For social media, it is worth reviewing the subjects you regularly discuss, the services you present and the posts for which you repeatedly struggle to find a suitable original image. These can become a specific image list for the session.

A varied collection may require portraits, working situations, details and both portrait and landscape crops. This allows you to use the same series across several platforms without heavily cropping every photograph.

The photographs should visually belong together

The location, clothing, background and atmosphere together shape the impression the series communicates about you and your work. An elegant professional service may require a different direction from a more approachable creative, educational or consultancy brand.

You do not need to wear the same clothes or use the same background in every photograph. A few coordinated outfits and situations can make the collection varied while keeping the complete series consistent.

The aim is to create a collection that suits the way you genuinely work and present yourself. You do not need to adopt a role for the photo shoot that would later feel unfamiliar on your own platforms.

Headshots or brand portrait photography?

If you primarily need one clean professional profile photograph, headshot photography usually provides a more precise framework. It generally takes place in a studio with a simple background and tighter framing.

Brand portrait photography produces a more varied collection. Alongside classic portraits, we can create working situations, details, wider compositions and photographs designed for several different platforms.

The two directions can also be combined. A brand session can include several clean professional portraits, while the rest of the series shows your work, environment and more personal presence.

Frequently asked questions

How is brand portrait photography different from a general portrait session?

Brand portrait photography is built around the platforms and content where you intend to use the images. Alongside strong portraits, we consider the image crops, working situations, details and wider compositions you will need.

Is this the same as headshot photography?

A headshot primarily focuses on a clean professional portrait, usually created in a studio against a simple background. Brand portrait photography gives you more situations, varied framing and a broader collection that can be used across several platforms.

Do I need to arrive with a finished concept?

No. It is enough to show me your website and platforms or explain the subjects and services for which you need images. We use these to develop the direction of the session together.

How do we work out which photographs I need?

Before the shoot, we review your important platforms, recurring subjects and the types of images you are currently missing. From these, we can create a specific list of portraits, situations, details and required image crops.

Can we photograph at my workplace or own location?

Yes. We can work in an office, workshop, consulting room, shop, rented space, outdoors or in a studio, depending on which environment represents your work most authentically.

What should I wear for brand portrait photography?

Choose clothes that suit your professional appearance and allow you to move naturally. Several outfits can give the series more variety, and we can review the options together before the session.

What determines the price of brand portrait photography?

The final price depends on the number of locations and outfits, possible studio hire, the complexity of the concept and the number of finished images required. The time spent helping you settle in and giving you direction does not increase the cost by itself.

Is the studio or rented location included in the price?

No. Studio hire or the cost of another rented location is charged separately. I include the expected price and required booking time in the quote in advance.

How many photographs will I receive?

The starting price includes 10 retouched photographs. Brand sessions often require a larger collection, so you can order additional retouched images separately or plan a larger package in advance.

When will I receive the first photograph?

You receive one retouched photograph as a gift on the day of the shoot. We agree on the delivery time for the complete series in advance.

Will the photographs be retouched?

Yes. You receive the selected photographs fully retouched. The editing brings consistency to the light, colours and small details while preserving your natural appearance.
