Creating a collaborative post on Instagram is a great way for people to gain extra exposure. You can partner up with other Instagram accounts and share the same post or reel together, reaching new people that don't follow you and collecting likes and comments together. It's an optimal way to give proper credit to collaborators on your project, and it also eliminates the need for re-sharing the same post.

Here's how to do an Instagram collab:

  1. Create a post like you would normally do, adding the images or video, and adding any effects on the next screen, if necessary.
  2. When on the caption screen, you'll see an Add People option. Tap it, and inside it you'll find an Invite Collaborators button. Use this to invite the people as collaborators.

Search for the post, and in the top right menu, choose Stop Sharing, and it's gone from your feed.
