This Is My First Blog Post

Hi, and welcome to my blog. Yes, this is really happening.

I have always enjoyed writing, although I have never been particularly good at doing it regularly. Back when I worked as a freelance web designer, I had a professional blog that I loved looking after and filling with new content. I enjoyed having my own place on the internet where I could share my thoughts and create something useful. That is exactly what I would like to do with this blog too.

I currently have an Advent Photography Tips series running in my Instagram Stories, and I have also written properly considered captions for several of my recent posts… which made me realise that I have quite a lot to say about photography. Stories and social media posts do not feel like the best format for longer thoughts, however. That is how the idea for this blog began.

So what can you expect? In brief, anything connected to photography. Tutorials, personal experiences, lessons I have learned and different kinds of behind-the-scenes content. I might even write a few gear reviews one day… Who knows?

I would like to share my thoughts in a shorter, easy-to-digest format without unnecessary waffle or sugar-coating. Hopefully, I will manage to do exactly that.

If you would like to hear my opinion or experience on a particular subject, send me a message on Instagram, and I may turn it into a blog post. I am always open to ideas.
